The Dean Stockdale Quartet was formed in 2022 to arrange and record the music of Oscar Peterson. We released ‘Celebrating Oscar’ in May last year and we have just finished a UK tour to celebrate Oscar’s centennial which included dates in London, Ireland and Paris and Belgium. The quartet features myself on piano, Tim Williams on Guitar, Gavin Barras on bass and Gaz Hughes on drums, focusing on showcasing Oscar’s infectious swing and new arrangements of his original compositions.
