Job Description

We have the following vacancy:

  • Part-time Cinema

Box Office Staff

Must be able to work weekends and evenings. Hours will vary according to the film programme.

Job Purpose

Main Responsibility

To maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction by ensuring that programmes run to schedule without interruption

Main Duties

  • To arrive punctually for work in plenty of time before the Box Office opens wearing appropriate dress (dark, no jeans or trainers & long hair tied back.).
  • Ensure that all ticket sales are recorded accurately
  • To ensure that the kiosk is fully stocked with all sweets, drinks etc
  • Keep the kiosk & FOH in a clean and hygienic state
  • Ensure the cinema, kiosk & foyer area is clean and tidy.
  • To cash up at the end of the evening
  • To communicate respectfully with colleagues and customers
  • To offer a high level of service to all customers
  • To follow all statutory requirements in Health and Safety and Fire regulations
  • Check for cinema deals and reserve necessary cinema seats
  • Deal with customers queries & complaints & escalate them when necessary
  • To carry out any reasonable task requested by your line manager
