On a rare visit from the USA, and without doubt one of the most original jazz guitarists of his generation, John Stowell’s unique style continues to delight audiences around the world. Twice the recipient of Downbeat Magazine’s International Critics’ Award, his playing has been heard in the company of Milt Jackson, Art Farmer, Tom Harrell, Billy Hart, and David Liebman, amongst many others. Influenced as much by pianists and horn players as guitarists, Stowell’s approach to the instrument is entirely his own, making this appearance at Zeffirelli's a must-see gig.
