A lively, fun and swingy night of jazz with the Jamie Brownfield Quintet. It’s that classic tenor/trumpet front-line sound, full of swing and bop, played by two musicians who’ve worked together for years. Expect touches of Harry “Sweets” Edison, Duke Ellington, and even a few New Orleans vibes.
Trumpeter Jamie Brownfield and tenor saxophonist Mike Smith have previously appeared at Zeffirelli’s with The Stray Horns, and as The Air Horns they’re known for their popular videos and their remote recording work across film, TV and commercial projects.
They’ll be joined by a swinging rhythm section made up of top musicians from far and wide, and are looking forward to coming back to Zeffirelli’s.
