Playing an eclectic set of music ranging from Duke Ellington to The Stone Roses via Dr John & New Orleans, all delivered with a solid Americana roots based feel, John Ellis and Billy Buckley have been playing music together in various bands and ensembles for over 30 years. Between them, they have performed and recorded with such artists as Corinne Bailey Rae, Richard Hawley, John Squire, Martha Reeves, The Breath, John Helliwell, Arun Ghosh, The Cinematic Orchestra, The Hallè, as well as recording music for T.V and film. Most recently, they have been recording music for The Wagon Train ensemble performing original music written and arranged by Billy.
