The TRET TRIO is a dynamic combination of three experienced jazz luminaries from the British and Central European scenes. Together, they explore the unusual instrumentation of saxophone (Rob Hall) and two harmony instruments—guitar (Philipp van Endert) and Wurlitzer electric piano (Tobias Weindorf).Founded in 2023, the ensemble has performed concerts in their respective countries, including at the Alte Post (Neuss), Dellbrücker Jazz Festival (Cologne), Jazz Centre UK (Southend) and Chelmsford Cathedral.In 2025, the ensemble released their debut album CROW JAM as a joint label release between JazzSick Records (Germany) and FMR Records (UK). Available on both CD and LP, it was recorded at their creative home, JazzSick Studios, Düsseldorf.The TRET Trio presents a diverse program of lyrical, adventurous music. With their extensive touring experience, each band member has individually produced dozens of recordings with luminaries such as Kenny Wheeler, Jim Mullen, Lee Konitz, and many others, while composing new music for soloists and orchestras.This is a rare opportunity to experience these three exceptional musicians together live on stage.
