Matthew Bourne’s Romeo and Juliet is yet to have its National Press Night but the reaction from local press following its regional launch has been fantastic with one calling it an ‘energising, beautiful and enterprising production’ and another ‘this is a passionate and contemporary re-imagining of Shakespeare’s classic love story that is sure to stay with you long after the curtain has fallen’.
