Just Announced!

Professional Screen Acting Workshop with Mark McGann

At Inward Eye Festival

With its hallmark innovative and independent film thinking, the organisers of Inward Eye Festival 2026 are excited to announce a rare opportunity for any actor looking to expand their leading film/TV experience and knowledge of the unique professional process of screen acting.

Actor/Director/Filmmaker/Writer Mark McGann, one of the four McGann brothers, brings his unique film acting workshop to Ambleside. Developed to target a lack of meaningful leading screen acting opportunities for drama school graduates or seasoned actors yet to break into film and TV at a leading role level, these uniquely actor friendly and deeply informative days offer all participants the opportunity to shoot a high-quality original duologue scene that is then delivered to them as a fully edited broadcast quality professional showreel scene.

Mirroring real industry experience, these unique workshops verse all participants with the essential skills and insight to perform a leading role on camera to industry standard.

Every participant receives and original piece written by Mark 10-14 days before the workshop date, which is then shot by Mark and a small professional crew, before being professionally edited to broadcast quality and delivered to you for your own professional artistic purposes.

Places are limited to ensure quality experience so book early to avoid disappointment.

At £250 per actor per scene, there is simply no other comparable opportunity nationwide to experience such a rarified opportunity for such an affordable price.
