Concluding the impromptu series of vocal-led jazz performances we’ve hosted over the past month, tonight we welcome renowned Manchester pianist-singer Jeremy Sassoon and his band. Highly praised for his superb big band covering the Ray Charles repertoire, much in demand as an entertainer at some of the country’s most prestigious hotels, with an i-Tunes number one single on his CV and a busy schedule, it’s easy to see why Sassoon’s popularity is spreading. Tonight's show concentrates on material from his new album, released last month, recorded live at Pizza Express jazz club in Soho.
