Elliott Morris
Free Event
With hundreds of gigs behind him, Elliott Morris has a formidable reputation as one of the hardest-working and most sought-after young artists on the acoustic scene.
The singer-songwriter began playing electric guitar when he was 11, but launched his solo set at 17, just a year after starting to explore the possibilities of the acoustic instrument. Elliott taps the strings and beats the guitar’s body to create an intricate spectacle, together with an original and unique sound integral to his songs.
He has supported Erik Mongrain, Andy McKee, Frank Turner, Seth Lakeman, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Jim Bob (Carter USM), Jon Gomm, Paul Carrack, legendary Philadelphia soul groups The Stylistics and The Three Degrees, and revered folk veterans Martin Carthy and Dave Swarbrick. He gigs regularly with Dave McPherson (InMe) and has played many times with old friend, Ed Sheeran.
