Band Bio

Jazz-inflected world music from Amsterdam form this fascinating and unusual trio, featuring Oene van Geel on viola , Mark Tuinstra on guitar and Indian tabla player Niti Ranjan Biswas - one of the best players in Europe.

Mixing traditional ragas with funk, jazz and chamber music the band creates an intimate atmosphere ideally suited to Zeffirelli’s Jazz Bar. Their latest release ‘Dr Mysore’ features among others Grammy-nominated pianist John Beasley.

The Dutch jazz magazine Jazzism writes: “Each piece is unique and original, the whole musical world passes by. This should be compulsory for every music lover."
