Weather Walker Trio, featuring Tim Garland, saxophones & bass clarinet, Jason Rebello, piano and Yuri Goloubev, double bass, will perform music from Tim’s recent critically acclaimed album ‘Weather Walker’, material characterised by Tim’s signature mixture of soaring melody, sophisticated composition and earthy folk influence.

The Impossible Gentlemen. One of the finest and most adventurous contemporary jazz groups of recent years. Founded by Mike Walker and Gwilym Simcock, in 2009 with Steve Swallow on Bass and Adam Nussbaum drums, later on Steve Rodby replaced Swallow on Bass. This evening we see the two main composers Mike and Gwil joined by Yaron Stavi on Bass, and two drummers Asaf Sirkis and Bernhard Schimpelsberger, in what promises to be a powerful and exciting evening of contemporary jazz.
