The Kilcawley Family

Friends of acoustic music, we are dedicated in bringing to the stage the authentic sound of the Appalachian Mountains.  Steeped in Old Time, Bluegrass, and cowboy ballads, you can expect an evening of foot-stomping rhythms, ear-catching melodies, and angelic three-part harmonies.  We’ve been working together for over three years now, and after having toured the country, it is our great pleasure to at last be gracing the stage at Zeffirellis.

Originally Abby Colombi and John Osborne, the band has expanded to become a five-piece.

Amy Beeton now joins them on cello with Lucy Johnson on additional vocals and Martin Kirton on percussion.

Their list of self-penned songs is increasing by the week from the delicate “Catch The Light” (Radio Cumbria’s Track of the Week) and the anthemic Technicolour Love to the stomp of “Leap of Faith”.

A staple of BBC Introducing, they are not to be missed
